Reinforcing Ukrainian Leaders to Reunite, Rebuild & Restore their Community
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Don’t Can’t aims to bring hope to and support one destroyed Ukrainian communities’ journey to reestablish itself as it serves its people amidst the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war.
Our goal is to create new advocates willing to activate themselves to help our friends and to ultimately raise funds to rebuild their new home.
Having lost everything in the destruction of Mariupol, we believe that only the leaders of their community know best how to serve, restore and reunite their people. Following their lead, we will focus our efforts by striving to provide a new foundation for their leaders to stand on so that they can, in turn, help their community heal and reestablish itself long term.
DON’T CAN’T. What’s in a Name?
RUN TO THE FRONT
MEET THE ATHLETES
The first stage of the campaign centers around its ‘Run to the Front,’ a Herculean physical effort by an American couple, Nikki Faris & Tyler Chay. A convoy will support them as they attempt to run 30 marathons (about 1 per day, 5 times a week), for over 750 miles from the Romanian border to the front lines of the Russo-Ukrainian war in eastern Ukraine. They decided to do this to rally support and raise awareness for their friends after being heartbroken by their friends hardships and inspired by their resilience. Through collective effort and advocacy, the campaign strives to ensure that the Church of Good Changes and the Chaplains Battalion can continue their vital work amidst adversity and plant roots in a new city.
WHO ARE WE SUPPORTING?
